Inspection and Entry Point Identification
A technician inspects the roof, roof cavity, fascia, eaves, ridges, valleys, and tiles to locate every active and potential entry point.
Installation of One-Way Excluder Doors
One-way exit mechanisms are fitted over primary entry paths so possums can safely exit to forage at night but cannot re-enter.
Primary Proofing and Sealing
All other secondary entry points and structural gaps are sealed while the exit door is active.
Final Inspection and Seal
Once no possum activity is heard or detected inside the roof, the excluder door is removed and the final entry point is permanently sealed.
What to Expect
Here's what happens before, during, and after your service.
Before
Provide clear perimeter access around the home for ladders and equipment. Ensure roof cavity access hatches inside the house are accessible and clear of storage clutter.
During
Day 1 covers the initial inspection, primary sealing, and installation of the one-way exit door. Over days 2 to 4, the possums exit naturally at night through the one-way door.
After
On the final visit (typically days 3 to 5), we inspect the roof space, remove the exit door, and permanently seal the final hole. You should hear no further possum activity. Our proofing work is backed by a 12-month warranty on all sealed entry points.

What's Not Included
To keep our service focused and effective, the following are outside the scope of this service.
- General pest control treatments such as chemical sprays for spiders, ants, or cockroaches
- Pre-existing structural repairs including rotted timber fascia or severely degraded roofing tiles
- Unsealed outdoor structures like open carports, garden sheds, or open patios unless explicitly added to the quote
